• 1980 Vishal Cottex was set up by Mr.D.K. Gandecha in Manavadar town of Junagadh District Of Gujarat. It was then for him a humble beginning as a merchant and gradually as a ginner
• In 2001 with and aspiration for a greater market access to the Spinning mills based in Ahmedabad and South India , Vishal Cottex set up corporate office in Ahmedabad.
• Year 2003 onwards began asaw a remarkable opportunity for Indian Cotton Exports. Vishal Cottex & its sister concern companies made significant progress as a Merchant Exporter.
• 2006 Vishal Cottex acquired Jalaram Ginning Factory based in Dhrangadhra and set up Own 4 Star Rated Ginning Unit by the Textile Committee. Gradually though Cotton Exports was now contributing to a significant share of the total business turnover. It was now a Export House recognised by the Govt. of India. Renowned mills from South India & Gujarat preferred to procure Cotton from Vishal Cottex.
• By 2010-11 Cotton season Vishal Cottex & JGF was established a major supplier of Cotton to prominent domestic Integrated Spinning mills as well as to renowned Spinning mills in Indonesia , Mauritius , China & Pakistan.
• Season 2011-12 was a challenging year for the cotton industry and this inspired us to extend approach to other Indian Cotton varieties as well to other Cotton products such as CottonYarn , Cotton Linter& Cotton Waste.
• Having gradually explored business opportunities in other areas of Cotton Value Chain today our product mix is spread right from Cotton to Cotton Yarn , Cotton Waste , Cotton Linters & Apparels.
• We have an experienced team of professionals specialised and experienced in every area from Cotton to Cotton Yarn, Apparel as well as for high value added product such as Bleached Cotton Linters.
